Credentials: Refers to teaching expertise. Each training program (YTT, CE) you have graduated from is considered a credential. Once your supporting documentation is verified by AYC staff, a corresponding badge will be displayed on your page.
Badge: An AYC emblem that represents achievement and expertise in a yoga field. Badges are displayed on your profile. You will also receive a downloadable version of all badges sent to your AYC inbox upon verification.
Teaching History: Questionnaire that provides the AYC team with a comprehensive understanding of your teaching experience. This allows the credentialing team to accurately assess your AYC level. Your answers are not visible to the public.
Verification: Credentials, Schools, and Teaching Histories are verified by AYC staff. This means we check to make sure what is submitted is true. Schools will receive a checkmark by their name to indicate they are verified.
Accreditation: Once your Credentialing Program (YTT, CYP or CE course) is accepted, your program and school receive AYC accreditation. This means you officially can offer your graduates a Badge upon completion of the training. Once accredited, you will receive marketing materials tailored specifically to your school.
