Absolutely.  American Yoga Council and Yoga Alliance are separate organizations, and many yoga professionals choose to be affiliated with both. Joining AYC does not affect your Yoga Alliance membership or registration status.  You can be certified through AYC and keep your Yoga Alliance registration status.
