Traditionally, yoga knowledge has been passed from teacher to student through mentorship and direct guidance. The AYC Mentorship Program honors this tradition by allowing members to formally connect with experienced yoga professionals who support their growth and development.
To establish a mentorship connection, the mentor must accept the mentee's request. Once approved, the mentorship relationship will be displayed on both members' profiles. These connections also help strengthen member visibility within the AYC directory by linking mentor and mentee profiles together, making it easier for others to discover both professionals through search results.
As part of the program, mentors receive a revenue share for active mentees who maintain a Premium or Professional membership, creating an incentive to support and invest in the next generation of yoga professionals.
